# UTA Trust API (skill)

What it does: verifies an Agent Trust Card (ATC/1.0) and returns per-stage results (signature_verification, trust_anchor_key_selection, expiry_check, status_check), a sha256 digest of the signed subtree and a coarse risk band. The edge performs real Ed25519 verification against pinned trust anchors.

When to use: before an agent pays or contracts with another agent, to check counterparty trust; or to certify your own agent's card.

Cost: 0.01 USDC per card (0.08 USDC for a 1..10 batch) via x402 on eip155:84532, settled by the x402.org facilitator (EIP-3009). Nothing is charged unless settlement succeeds on-chain.

How to call:
1. POST https://uta-trust-api.eddyflores100.workers.dev/v1/trust/verify with {"card": {...}} and no X-PAYMENT -> 402 with accepts[] and Payment-Required header.
2. Sign EIP-3009 transferWithAuthorization for the quoted amount and retry with X-PAYMENT (base64 x402 v2 payload).
3. 200 + X-PAYMENT-RESPONSE (on-chain settlement receipt).
